Meet the Team

Katrina Harris-Granger
Leadership Facilitator
Katrina has been a teacher for 15 years and is a proud alumna of Prairie View A&M University. She currently teaches 1st grade at Katherine Johnson Technology Magnet Academy in DeSoto ISD. She is a strong believer that all children can and will learn. Katrina believes that once a teacher shows a child how they learn, that child will cherish that lesson forever. Her favorite quote is from Michelle Obama, "Empower yourself with good education, then get out there and use that education to build a country worth of your boundless promise."

Talitha Moore
Leadership Facilitator
Talitha has been in education for 7 years. She has served as a campus manager for Communities In Schools and has been in the classroom for 5 years. She currently teaches 6th-8th grade SPED English and Language Arts and Reading Science for dyslexic students in Midlothian ISD. As a teacher, her passion is to create an environment where struggling students feel safe to take risks and find their strengths. Talitha graduated from Ashford University with a B.S. in Psychology and is currently working towards her master's degree to become a licensed professional counselor.

Tilmandra Joiner-Ollie
Leadership Facilitator
Tilmandra has been an educator for 5 years. She graduated from UT Dallas with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. She has previously worked with 3rd-5th grade dyslexia students and 5th-8th grade students who needed an extra push in math. She currently teaches 7th grade English and Language Arts in Mesquite ISD. Tilmandra believes that building positive relationships with students is one of the most important aspects of teaching. Once those relationships are developed, the teacher and the student share something that could last a lifetime.
